Halloween Day at Childcare

We will have a small celebration on Halloween Day with our children, so they can come to school dressed up if they like. We will also have our golden capes for them to wear.

SECRET: Please not to tell your children the following because it is tenuous. If they ask what we are doing in school just say "we shall see", or "I look forward to hearing what you have done when I pick you up".

At 8:30 a.m., the children will parade through the main school in their costumes.  They will visit the 1st through 8th grade classrooms, receiving a little gift from each.  They will enjoy a special afternoon snack, play pumpkin games and carve a small pumpkin to take home.

(Most children do not like masks, but much prefer face paint as it is not so constrictive.  Also, please do not send the children in as super heros or Disney characters as that tends to incite rough play and we want to give them other images than those of television and movies.)
